Donations accepted for Mentoring Program
It is the mission of 4Ward Community Development Corporation to
provide a variety of programs to mentor to the adolescent boys and
girls. We are thankful for your donations that support the great
programs for young development. The goal is to start with the boys in
developing a sense of responsibility for growing into adulthood and
ultimately becoming good fathers. Our observation has shown that
there are many homes with absentee fathers. This program will include
activities that strive to improve the relationship with fathers who may
not be in the home but desire and need to maintain a relationship with
the children. We plan to facilitate open communication between the
parents, with a strong focus on the father’s involvement which is a vital
part of this program.
The boys will be involved in programs with mentors can guide them
through the development process who are successful and can be
examples for the youth to follow. Activities will be planned and
implemented that will provide social, educational, leadership and
core values improvements. The mentors and boys will interact and
discuss current issues of concern or issues that require intervention and
positive inputs. The ultimate goal will be to train adolescence boys to
become good persons, fathers and responsible citizens.
Donations for Homeless and Disaster Assistance
Help be an important part of 4ward CDC Our goal for adolescent girls is
to provide mentoring programs that will teach the core values of
womanhood while developing the positive characteristics of women.
We will provide programs that encourage women to embrace their
womanhood and educate them on various health, and social issues
that affect women. The girls will interact with mentors who have
demonstrated wisdom, success, personal and financial independence,
and awareness of the myriad situations young girls face today. In today’
s society many girls go through many life experiences at an early age.
Our goal is to implement programs that promote alternatives to
premature sexual involvement as well as teach girls to be comfortable
in heir own skin and love themselves. Our goal will be to train girls to
be successful and outstanding citizens in the community.
